An item is each row in your specification tables. This includes both visible and hidden rows, but not deleted rows. Empty rows don't count.
At 80% of your limit, you'll see a gentle reminder. At 100%, you won't be able to add more items until you upgrade. Your existing work is always safe and accessible.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When you downgrade, your data remains safe — you just can't add more items beyond the new limit.
